Calves are the future of our herds. Therefore, calf care and feeding begin in the womb. A good start in life for calves is of critical importance for us to obtain more productive and profitable herds in the future. In this context, we have an additional 107 kg milk yield in the first lactation against for every 100 g live weight gain we give to a calf daily.

Kartal’s special Calf Feeding Program covers 60 – 80 days following the birth of a calf. This program aims to significantly reduce the risk of ailments such as respiratory problems and diarrhea while focusing on a healthy rumen, tissue, and organ development compared to that of a conventionally raised calf.
